Yeah …I hear ya. They just have the second Chicago team. Their organization sucks right now. We’ve lost guys like Machado  For what I still consider an underwhelming return.

I don't fault Getz for wanting as much as he can get for Cease.  We have faulted Elias for not reading the room for SP costs or paying too much for a Givens (or whatever).  Similar deal for Getz here.  I do find it ironic that they call Elias a hoarder and Getz is coveting our guys more than Elias is. 

Moving Hall, Ortiz, and a high pick for the best arm available is a commitment to 2024.

I don't recall who posted it or the X account, but loved the:  "O's came into winter with the best farm system in baseball.  Now the O's still have the best farm system and Burnes."

Hey, the burden of being right all the time is a real load.  I'm sure you have little experience with such problems, but the compensation is getting to toot your own horn once everyone else catches up.
