I think based on the interest from other teams we do.  He has enough evidence of being wrongfully accused that a team that sees talent could bring him in and defend the decision pretty easily.  We aren’t even getting sniffs.  The other possibility is that teams know a lot more about him that we don’t know.

I think Julio Urias is still unsigned too even though the LA District Attorney decided not to press felony charges.  As a domestic violence second offender, MLB will likely slap him with at least an 80-game suspension the moment a team signs him though.

I suspect that there is a negative correlation  between those who support signing one and those that support signing the other. Not a chi-saure of -1.00, but I’d be surprised if it wasn’t around -0.70.

Wait, we’re talking about Bauer and how or if he deserves a second chance. I’m not completely clear on the facts with his case but it appears that the woman involved was a liar. And if that’s true, Bauer still doesn’t seem close to be making a comeback. 
 

Franco’s case seems to be a bit more clear cut. I don’t think anyone’s arguing he didn’t have inappropriate relations with a minor.  It seems to be clear that he did. 
 

So are you arguing that he’ll still make it back somehow?

In his defense this is 2024. Make content. Get views, clicks, sell merchandise, get sponsorships. It’s YouTube/social media 101. Probably why he can play for the league min.
