I wouldn't blame him one bit, but he just got done talking about how he wanted to win with the Angels and that asking for a trade was the "easy way" so it would probably look bad to backtrack on that.

Why should the Angels trade away the only reason to watch the team for pennies on the dollar?

Oh he is getting paid and usually I don't like guys trying to get out of their deals. But man, the Angels are terrible.

He said in an interview he wants to stay in LA and win the Angels. Not sure if it was lip service, but I don't think they are sending him anywhere.
