TWells stuff never looks great on TV and velocity metric.  His stuff plays above due to his height and release point/extension and general command.  And when following aces in Burnes and GRod also appears ordinary.

I have more confidence in Kremer and Irvin than Wells.  Looking forward to Bradish and Means getting healthy.  We still may need a starter at the deadline.

I was hoping he’d be #5.

I agree Wells going ahead of Kremer is an interesting choice.

Well sure, but when we knew that he wasn't playing it wasn't an option. He would likely have been the #2 anyway if he were healthy.
