After last night's drubbing by the Tides, all these guys are opsing above 1.000 with Mayo being the low at 1.039.  Early on, Urias, Hays and Mullins have been pretty bad and we still have Kemp on the roster.

So who gets the first call-up?  Who should get called up first?

Kjerstad or possibly Stowers.  Neither of them have service time issues to really take into consideration.  Mayo and Holliday need more time to do 'whatever', and Norby doesn't seem to have a defensive home really,  though I think his bat is ready.   All you listed are ready IMO, but they aren't going to jettison vets yet.

Who goes off the roster if an outfielder is called up?  We currently can’t even get Cowser at bats.

Never know, someone might step in one of those potholes in the parking garage.

There just aren’t many ways to do this without jettisoning guys like Mateo and Urias. GM’s are very aware of the situation I assure you. The trade market for guys on the ML roster is likely not gonna be much. Or soon.

Plus it’s super early.

Curious, do you think Kjerstad is up be before the April 14th or 15th date everyone keeps talking about for Hollidays service time?

Barring injury, no call ups until May, at the earliest.

I went with Burdick just to be contrarian and because Elias seems to go to great lengths to do something other than what the fans want. Burdick, Kjerstad, and Stowers are all on the 40 man roster already so there are no barriers. If there is an injury, Burdick is a versatile guy who could fill in for anyone.
