You only need 3 of your 5 SPs to actually start games, so you should be able to carry at least one of your 4/5 SPs as a potential bulk guy, if not both. For a max 3 game series (and a max 5 game ALDS too, IMO), that should be more than enough unless, like I said, you are doing something wrong or really need to buy some quality pitching this winter. In the shorter playoff series, being able to counter an extra opposing bullpen move in the late innings is far more valuable than carrying another (likely mediocre) RP. -

Bobby Witt, one man wrecking crew, has not really been subjected to that Joe Maddon messing up Bryce Harper tactic. I think due diligence for SIGBOT at least involves thinking about the intentional walk strategically. Vinnie Pasquantino, a couple weeks behind Jordan Westburg in a similar late July hand injury situation, hasn't given up making it back. Interesting call for the Royals, who have been batting Michael Massey 3rd lately. MJ Melendez's LF defense rates poorly....OPACY's big space could be a challenge. Adam Frazier's role has shrunk during September - Last 30 Days he is only 13th on the team in PA, even with Pasquantino absent. Yuli Gurriel is kind of a living legend. Also last 30 Days, his wRC+ of 96 is 2nd best on the ballclub. -

Gotta think SD and Houston are the 4 and 8 games…Balt and Milwaukee get 1 and 2…Milwaukee time zone probably means we get 1. -

Very nice pic choice there. I am actually wearing a hat with that exact logo on it at this very moment. It's my most broken-in (read: beaten up) Orioles hat, and while I was leaning towards wearing my nice, new, sleek all-black O's hat to the game on Tuesday, I think I will now go with the Angry Bird hat instead. Thanks for helping me decide 😋
