So if tomorrow the O's decided, hey Drew's right we are being "bush league" and decided to increase every player on the 40 man roster by 10%. Would you be in here talking about how great of a move that is by the Orioles, or would you be here bashing them for being financially irresponsible?

Winner. Lock it down.

No, but I'm allowed to comment on him because he's part of the baseball team that I help fund with my contribution to their TV network.

I'm now a stock-holder, for better or worse.

Lately, or, since 1997, at least, it's been FOR WORSE.

You do realize that you don't have to pay for MASN, right?

You really show no credibility by avoiding my questions.

Well you sure complain a hell of a whole lot.

Just out of curiosity, is there some kind of language in your WNST contract that says you have to misrepresent everything that involves the Orioles?

Guthrie is clearly not getting a pay cut, yet you tried to start an inflammatory thread stating he is. For someone who's an alleged member of the sports media to not understand something so trivial, well it says a lot.

Headline of The Sun:

O's pitcher agrees to PAY CUT to $650,000...

Better tell the folks at Calvert Street it's not a pay cut.

No actually that you would make you a consumer.

But, don't let me stop your rant. Carry on.

He's not a member of the media, or else he'd have a full press pass.

No, no, no.

I would be a consumer if I ELECTED to pay for MASN.

I didn't choose to pay for it.

It was added to my monthly Comcast bill.

I'm forced to contribute to the team's bottom line...like it or not.

Therefore, I consider myself a stock-holder.

Since when is getting basic cable a requirement of the American experiment?

you do realize you don't have to watch tv? Or you could switch to Directv or Dish network. If it bothers you so much you are losing money on your stock options.

You're right about that.

Or, the team could actually do what they're supposed to do with the money they bilk out of all of us.

They could WIN and PUT PEOPLE IN THE SEATS again.
