Is it his bowling hand?

Word is it won't require surgery so he should be back before the playoffs.

He's elite in 17 other high school intramural sports and is dating the head cheerleader, so no issue.

I'm going to need photographic evidence the head cheerleader is hot.  This is a totally scholastic endeavor.

In what has turned into the best offensive season of his career, Ohtani has set quite a few records among Japanese-born players. He passed manager Dave Roberts for the most homers and stolen bases recorded in a single season by a Japanese player in franchise history.

The rest of the article is not this bad, but I quote it just to make the point that over the last 7-8 years, it seems like there has been more and more "writing" like this--something that a bot or AI could output with no sense of meaningful baseball comparisons. Unlike the players Ohtani is more suitably compared to, Roberts didn't first have a career in Japanese pro ball and the most home runs he ever hit for the Dodgers was 4.

The Dodgers have won an 11th division title in the last 12 years. That is an epic accomplishment no matter how much money you have to blow. It’s kinda insane.

Yeah, there is only that pandemic World Series. But the playoffs have become an idle amusement of rando players getting hot and Hall of Famers going cold—it is super fun to watch though.

Our key players aren't ready to uphold their part of the deal yet, but the Peak Orioles Teams sometime this decade against these Dodgers before they get too old would be an amazing matchup.      I've only gotten to watch most of a Dodgers game the past week or so, and one of the impressions even though they are HOF and still near the very best is that Freddie and Mookie are fraying some as time continues its unbeaten streak.

I think we're the likeliest club of any of the 29 others to be able to out-talent the Dodgers anytime soon.
