This team has an outfielder problem. Can’t get any consistency out of any of them.

Cowser totally bombed.  All he had to do was hit a ground ball to score the runner and third and he looked at a strike down the middle of the plate.  Easy to see why he's got detractors.

Stowers couldn't be worse than Mullins at this point. Mullins simply is clueless at the plate right now.

Swing at everything except strike 3 down the middle.  No pinch hitting or bunting.  Burnes out after only 85 pitches.  Really poor effort all around (except AR).

Cowser had a .564 OPS going into tonight's game the last 28 days. At some point if he doesn't turn it around you have to think about calling up Kjerstad and giving him Cowser's at bats.

The 10th ends as a microcosm of the entire game: futility at the plate. Cano coughed it up, but we can't play 495 innings to give the offense a chance to score - at some point they have to get it done. They didn't tonight.
