3 hits seems to be the Orioles output per game in this series...I dont want to see some stats about how great a hitting team this is...my eyes see what is really happening...

Ok, this was so predictable.  Hyde burns up bullpen in game 1.  O's still lose.  Disaster awaits in game 2.

Akin has been their best reliever this year. It makes no sense to option a guy who has been your best reliever so far this year for a guy with a career 4.29 ERA, 4.55 FIP, and 4.95 xFIP as a reliever. Baumann has a good arm but he hasn’t been a good pitcher. Doesn’t matter if Akin just gave up a homer or not.

This lineup just does not take pitches anymore.  Feels like that approach fails more often than it works, though it does work here and there.

No, and he wont be playing for about 3-4 more weeks...but a POWER POTENTIAL addition wouldn't hurt this team...He needs to come up when healthy...the Orioles need him...
