Every year Keegan Akin has fooled the Orioles for a month or two into thinking he can be a useful ML pitcher.

It bounced off a stanchion unexpectedly. That was called lucky BABIP imo.

This past inning is why Akin hasn’t entered the circle of trust yet. I wouldn’t feel comfortable bringing him into a high leverage situation in October baseball.

Leaving in Akin with the bases juiced knowing he’s awful with runners on and has been terrible lately in addition to him being responsible for all 3 on base while facing the next 2 best hitters in their lineup? Seems poor.
