He would make a good get . We have be aware of what Marlins asking price is. To compound that price is that Orioles are not only team bidding for him. What would any of you offer for him ?

He got lit up last night and is now carrying a pretty ugly 5.30 ERA through 10 starts. Not that I think he's suddenly not good, but he isn't doing the Marlins any favors in terms of maxing out his trade value.

Now... a lot of blue in the statcast, but the WHIFF is in the red. Pretty confident we could get him back on track. Fastball is down about a MPH from last year, when he had a lot more red in the statcast. 

That said, he's had an elbow injury this year and how confident are we about that not being a problem?

Sig's running a special decision sciences project but the group is having trouble figuring out who in management is going to be the one to actually tell Grayson Rodriguez they need him in the bullpen once OMAR recommends Jack Flaherty.

Yeah his FB is down 1.3 MPH from last year and his wOBA on it is up from .301 last year to .350 this year. That was his best pitch last year (15 run value) and this year it’s at -1. Hard to see him improving if his velo is down that much. Stuff+ doesn’t love him either (nor did it last year).

It’s interesting because he throws his FB 45% of the time even though it’s been by far his worst pitch by xWOBA since he debuted. His xISO on his FB is .216 this year and was .201 last year so it gets hit hard even though he has a decent whiff rate on it. 

His slider, curve, and change up haven’t been hit hard the past 2 years (his wOBA on the curve is .460 this year but xwOBA is only .283) so I wonder if a team that acquires him would change up his pitch mix.
