Was he ever shaking his pitching arm?  We really need for him to not be injured.  If Bradish goes down I can see the Orioles nearing desperate places.  Maybe selling one or multiple prospects for a starter.  

Anything to avoid that would be good.

It's what a ton of pitchers in baseball have been doing.  Throwing 110% every pitch, every game doesn't seem to be sustainable.

That wasn't the pitch he got tossed for.  Cash was arguing the 0-0 pitch that got called a strike 4 inches above the zone.

We are winning 65% of our games and our offense is scoring among the top five  in MLB in runs per game.   Yet we hear so many of these generalized statements about how we can't hit, we can't handle prosperty, we always give runs back after we score, we always do this wrong, we always do that wrong.

It's all such utter BS.   If we were making a habit of doing all the things wrong all the time that the whiners and crybabies constantly cry about, there is NO WAY we would be on a 105 win pace or one of the highest scoring teams in MLB.   It would be impossible.

Do we do those things on occasion?   Sure, every team does.   Every team has a scoring drought   Every team occasionally gets a lead and gives it back.   Every other team strands runners on 3rd with less than two outs now and then.

But there is NO WAY we are worse at all those things than most teams.   There is NO WAY those things can be endemic problems for us rather than just things that happen occasionally to us like every MLB team.  Because if they were, we would not have the record we do.

I agree that some of these things are not fair subjects for criticism or hand-wringing. But it is my impression that the Orioles, for one of the top teams in MLB, rarely get off to a big lead in the first few innings and, when they do, often (again for a very good team) give all or most of it up. 

I don't accept your logic, as I understand it, that because the Orioles have an outstanding won-loss record (just slightly above their simple Pythagorean expectation), they can't be not-so-good at anything.  A very good team can be mediocre or bad at some things. I think the Orioles are not very good at this one, and I said so without researching the accuracy of my observation.

That made me laugh, the day we picked him up I asked in a thread somewhere whether we were going to have him long enough for us to need to learn how to spell his name.

O's haven't won a 10-8 type ballgame in a while. I guess those don't happen in MLB much anymore in general.

Yup.   I know the feeling.  Some days it just isn't your day.  Bradish had nothing.  Velocity was still good so not too worried.  

You can usually feel it when you wake up.   Everything is off. 

Funny how 'cooked' has become a word that all the social media influencers are using lately.  I watch a lot of you tube golf videos and one of my favorites is Taco Golf (he is from New Zealand) and Luke Kwon...who is American.  But both have Korean heritage.  Anyway last year they started to use the word 'cooked' when they hit a shot that ended up in a terrible spot and I remember thinking it was odd that they were using that because I hadn't see that word used since I was a kid.
