Wednesday, June 5: Orioles at Toronto

Berrios has owned us before, more often than not. Let's get to him. What happens when you pit an unhittable pitcher (unhittable for the O's) against a guy like Mountcastle who can't help but destroy the Blue Jays? I guess we'll see.

Hang tough, Suarez.

Yes Roy if you say something often enough eventually it will happen.

I still recall last night when you gave Mountcastle crap for swinging at one pitch out of the strike zone in a 12 pitch at bat.

My favorite was last night when Roy said that the 4 run lead we had wasn't enough because "there's been a lot of traffic on the basepaths the last couple innings".   Burnes was in the midst of a 7 inning, 1 run, 4 hit, 1 walk performance (and the 1 run and 1 of the hits would come later in, in his last inning).   One of the better pitched games by an Oriole this year, but to Roy "there's been a lot of traffic on the basepaths".   If there is a negative way to view something, he will find it.

He's 78.

Yea, let's work him to death, that's a great idea.

I really hope the poster you quoted wants us to bring back Palmer in the broadcaster's booth, not on the field. Broadcasting requires little more energy than a grandpa talking to his grandkids. You sit in a chair and talk, and occasionally read stuff.

But I can understand him not wanting to travel much, especially to Canada. They sometimes bring in Palmer on the phone during the broadcast. I like that. Let him "work from home".

Why, thank you. I do my best...
