I love that they are now doing the per-9 stats, that is the main thing that drove me to the Cube on the very few occasions that I use that site.

They have added so many stats that you now have to click on the "Detailed..." links in each section. Here is a sample detailed page:

Interface actually now resembles BaseballCube+FanGraphs+Wikipedia

I'll admit I rarely relied on Baseball-Reference anymore instead opting for a BaseballCube/FanGraphs duo, but it looks like they could be adding a lot of new stats or at least exposing stats I never knew about before in addition to requiring less clicks to see all the stats (i.e. More scrolling... less clicking)

Very interesting.

The greatest thing about baseball reference was always its speed. It was primarily text based and didn't have a lot of images to download and it always loaded SUPER fast. It was heavily inter-linked so that you could zip from page to page quickly. Have a player, you could quickly link to the team page for any team he played for any season, to quickly to go the list of games that team played to find a box score or find various splits, etc.

It seems to me that the format is already slower. I have clocked on some things and had to wait 7 or 8 seconds for a page.

That sucks.
