Pujols has probably a 30-50 percent chance of being the NL MVP. No one else has better than a 10 percent shot.

I predict Chris Carpenter to be the run away comeback player of the year and a long shot for the CYA. He's that good; if, and it's a big if, he remains healthy.

I think it's quite unlikely, but I'll play homer and pick Rasmus for the NL ROY.

Cards are a real long shot to upset the Cubs in the NL Central, but I think they have a reasonable chance at the wild card.

La Russa, much as I dislike his managing, will probably win NL Manager of the Year.

I think their staff is good enough to make the playoffs, and once you're in the playoffs everybody has about a 12% chance of winning the Series.

The one thing Oakland has going for them is the injuries to LAA's starting staff. If the Angels can't get these guys back in a reasonable amount of time they could have a long road ahead of them.
