Also, likely not winning a game your #5 starts when your lineup has 4 hits in 7 innings. Offense has been brutal since the break against MLB caliber pitching (anyone besides Toronto) - they have 40 runs in 10 games against every team other than Toronto.

Well there's our wake-up call: after tonight we're gonna be tied with the Yanks for first. It'll only take a few days of O's lose / Yanks and Sox win to kick us out of the first wildcard spot. So, if they're gonna come out of this slump like it appeared they might vs the Blue Jays, they'd better do it now.

Good Game. Although, in this case: Godawful Game.

In golf terms it means Good Good.  As in if 2 people with both putts within 2 feet are good without actually putting them out.

There is actually a pretty popular youtube golf channel named GG=Good Good.

In Poker it means Good Game.

They scored 19 runs in Texas series.  13 runs in the Marlins series and 16 runs in the Padres series.    When is 19+13+16= 40.  That is 48 runs in 9 games or 5.5 a game.

Suarez is the long man and can’t even give you 2 innings. What exactly is the point of him being on the roster? His stuff isn’t any better in the pen than it was starting and he has been terrible the last month and a half.

What he did the first 2 months was big, but it’s pretty clear at this point he’s not an MLB pitcher. There is zero reason Akin should be in the minors while Suarez is your long man, who can’t even give you innings.

They scored 16 in 3 vs SD, 13 vs MIA in 3, 19 vs TEX in 3 games. That’s 48 in 9 games.

Unlike the past couple seasons, when we’re down, we don’t come back very often. This team does not rally.

Yeah I would say of all the negatives this season, their ability to come back from a deficit is disappointing.

And yes I know they did it against the Yankees but lets face facts, that was very very lucky.  It never should have happened,
