I would have let Suarez finish inning but Webb hasn’t  thrown since Monday so you can get him some work.

You’re going to have to end up using 3 relievers to get 11 outs because your long man can’t even finish 2 innings. If that’s Suarez’s role, that just can’t happen.

Well there's our wake-up call: after tonight we're gonna be tied with the Yanks for first. It'll only take a few days of O's lose / Yanks and Sox win to kick us out of the first wildcard spot. So, if they're gonna come out of this slump like it appeared they might vs the Blue Jays, they'd better do it now.

The Blue Jays we faced were paper thin and had some hitters that  belonged in the minors. It was easily their weakest rotation facing the Orioles. No Berrios or Gausman or even Kikuchi. I think that Blue Jays series told us very little about our slump break out. It was a bit of an illusion. Against good teams we still have trouble. As it is right now, we aren't as good as Cleveland or the Yankees. And maybe the Red Sox too.

So we pull Suarez to burn another bullpen arm and still give up the 3 run homer?  Suarez could have done that.

I went back and looked. Irvin and Akin chewed up some innings recently out of the pen. I wanted to see Suarez finish it off myself. That said pen is in fine shape.

If we didn't lose Bradish and Means, we would've been awesome this year and be running away in 1st place. Those injuries did us in.

I don't expect Means to ever start another game for Baltimore.

He can definitely finish 2 innings. I’d like to hear why Hyde yanked him so quickly. Seems like a poor move on his part.
