I hope all that you say comes true. But in terms of objective reasons to be optimistic. All I can come up with is none of the other projected AL postseason opponents is really that good either. Somebody has to win. Why not us, I guess?

See?  If we are being objective, the Yankees and the Dodgers with their $5 Billion + payrolls would easily win the WS EVERY YEAR.  But they don't.
