The MLB Draft has a new look.

The 2009 Major League Baseball First-Year Player Draft has moved from Orlando to the MLB Network studios in Secaucus, NJ. The Draft will commence on Tuesday, June 9 at 6 pm ET, marking the first time that the MLB Draft has aired during prime time.

As part of the new arrangement, MLB Network will broadcast the first round (which includes the first 32 picks) from its own Studio 42 in New Jersey. The draft will continue through Compensation Round B (which immediately follows the third round) on MLB.com. Rounds 4 through 30 are scheduled for Wednesday, June 10 at noon ET and will be held via conference call from MLB's headquarters in New York. The draft will resume on Thursday, June 11 with the final 20 rounds.
