Things are starting to get ugly

It's just amazing to me how horribly wrong things go for this team at the same time.

It's like a perfect storm of **** for this team all too often.

Stop being so "reactionary." It's only been 12 years. :laughlol:

Yep...The roster will keep getting better.

The problem is so many of you overrated this team early on and then you get all bent out of shape when they are struggling.

:laughlol::laughlol::laughlol:

First of all, don't lump me in with that collective "you" statement there.

Second, unless the youngsters come up and don't take their lumps for long, there's no way in hell this team doesn't win 75.

Let's give Hughes some credit, that pitch was pretty nasty looking. Nick obviously did not expect him to throw a curve on 3-2 with 1st and 3rd and one out and got frozen. He knew it was a strike. Big pitch. No excuses for Roberts.

Only thing that makes sense for Roberts to get into a rundown, was the hope that they'd trade Andino scoring for the out (if Brian could stay in it long enough). Did he ever even break for home?

Yeah you are right and no I don't think he ever broke but who knows. Certainly Samuel should have been telling him to go.

Blasphemy. We're not that far removed from The Professor, the Human Windmill, at third.

Well, Guthrie just plugged Teix nice and good. I hope he did that on purpose.

Yeah, but c'mon Samuel is pretty bad. And I second the Tex plug sentiments. Maybe we need a good old brawl? :scratchchinhmm: Team building exercise.

That's Huff, Roberts and Markakis now that have swung at pitches for strike three that were literally 2 or 3 feet out of the strike zone.

Seriously - did somebody put some kind of liquor in the Gatorade or something? You NEVER see that.

Double seriously.
