David Stockstill on the decision to promote Snyder:

"He’s really swung the bat very, very well and he’s made improvements on how he reads offspeed pitches. They threw him a lot of pitches out of the zone and he’s matured a lot in taking the pitches and driving the ball all over the field. We feel it’s time that he can move up and make adjustments and compete at that level."

This pretty much sounds like the AA pitchers are pitching around him now so he needs to go to Norfolk.

Great news. My first thought is that if he does well in Norfolk, and Aubrey is dealt by the deadline, we could see Snyder get a look in September.
