Ok guys, figured I'd start one early. Let's hope for a Guthrie rebound and hopefully our bats stay hot. Markakis has the day off, and Reimold starts in right.

Hamels is a heck of a pitcher, so we need a great game from Guthrie to stay in this one IMO.

Let's see if we can get to Hamels. He's got a nasty curve in the first, gets Roberts to ground out, but Reimold with a single! He showed good patience with that at bat.

Hamels K's both Jones and Scott back to back. If he's got that curve, change-up, and fastball working he's gonna be very tough to beat today. Plus, he's been a big game pitcher so far in his career, and this is one of those games that the Phillies need to win.

Hopefully Guthrie will show us why he's done so well the past two years.

Guthrie is having trouble locating his fastball so far in the first. The strikes have been up in the zone again. Let's hop that he corrects that.

That might be a positive. When he is at 95 or higher, he seems to have a lot less movement.

Looked like Utley crushed that one at first, but it was just a fly-out to Jones. Guthrie really needs to get the ball down, that one was right down the middle and elevated.
