Why? So he can sugar-coat everything that's right with the Orioles, even if it's wrong.

Hunter is an apologist no doubt, but he has been professional enough not to blatantly cheer for the Orioles, unlike Carpenter and Dibble.

No. Because as an O's fan I could care less about all the commentary by the opposition's broadcasters like we get from Carpenter and Dibble. Witness Dibble's "nice" after Kearns' RBI single. I wouldn't want to hear half the game announced by the Yankees', Tigers', Royals', anybody's announcers.

How is something right but wrong anyhow?
