Repeated lackadaisical behavior needs to have some sort of 'punishment.'

Sure, it may not be repeated by Roberts/Markakis specifically, but its obviously a team issue. Sometimes a 'message' needs to be sent by management that behavior wont be tolerated anymore.

Removing a player for 2 innings isn't benching him for days on end. Its comparable to not allowing an employee to leave a few hours early on friday...or having them come in early for a meeting IMO.
