It was 1954, I was ten years old. My dad took me, but I can't remember who they were playing. I do remember seeing Mickey Mantle, Yogi, Ted Williams and other greats of years past. Memorial Stadium was a grea

t park to a 10 year old.

It's crazy, but I still think I can smell the cigarettes, Natty Boh, and hot dogs from Memorial Stadium.

It's not crazy. Smell is the sense most closely tied to memory. You'll catch a whiff of something, and it'll spark a memory long forgotten.

I can't say I saw the game in person, but I was there as a prenatal. The Saturday game of the Brewers series to end the 82 season.

First game I remember was a spring training game at Joe Robbie (I will always call it that) against the Yankees in 88.

And as for my first regular season game, May 10, 1997. I remember my dad teaching me how to keep a score book, Scott Kamieniecki pitching well, and Griffey Jr. going 0 for 4 with 3 ks.

My first time was in 1964. I was 11 years old. I think they were playing Cleveland.

It was School Crossing Guard Day! My brother was one and we got tickets for some family and came down from the Hagerstown area. There was an accident with the escilator at Memorial Stadium and the place was a mess.
