Worst Uniforms Ever

What were the worst Baseball uniforms ever to disgrace a diamond. My votes:

1) The Pittsburgh Pirates uniforms of the 70s with their attrocious mustard color and box hats

2) The rainbow Houston Astros uniforms of the 70s

3) Chisox and their dark blue shorts - what were they thinking?

The reason I've put this as an O's thread is because someone is going to say the O's and their orange jerseys, but I am going to defend the orange jerseys. They were very different (how many teams have black jerseys, dodger blue jerseys and/or red jerseys - EVERYONE!) and since the color is linked to the state and city flags, I thought it showed they conveyed a little civic pride.

Nothing compares to the awful uniforms the White Sox have trotted out in.

The other two are great, and you are wrong.

The ugliest thing out there right now is the Diamondbacks unis. Awful.

The Orange shirts were fine... I wish they would bring those back in some regard...but it was the ALL ORANGE uniforms that were hideous.

The Rockies' unis are pretty ugly. The Padres alternate between unacceptable and merely atrocious. Remember when they were wearing urine-colored jerseys for a season or two?

How can you support a baseball team wearing French Foreign Legion hats without the cool neck flap in the back, and the best feature about the rainbow uniforms for the Astros was that you could adjust the color knob on your color television by matching the colors of the rainbow.

The top section was fine, but the bottom section is really hideous in my book, and when you combine the two. :eektf:

I guess everyone wanted to look like vegetables in the 1970's. The O's looked like carrots, and the Indians looked like tomato's.

The Baltimore Orioles does get its name from matching the colors of the Calvert family coat-of-arms (black and gold). However, that's because many in the wild look like this...

The White Sox softball unis they wore through most of the '80s weren't much, either.

Mainly everyone had softball type uniforms with the way they were designed.
