I agree, MLB need to either have "team errors" or just suck it up and issue an error when a player loses a ball in the lights or sun. Why punish the pitcher for this?

Absolutely. Matusz got a flyball to right field that should have been caught under normal circumstances yet suddenly because the sun comes into play he has a run tacked on to his line.

What also sucks is his pitch count would be down even further. He'd be around 60-65 pitches I would think.
