Yes. I left already because it was 2 hours to get a table. We’re going elsewhere for dinner instead. I have the luxury of living a block away so I was able to walk over, have a few beers, and not have to drive home.
Sure, it's holistically an improvement. Formula 1 cars are finely tuned for efficiency, power, speed, etc... And they replace engines, tires, etc. on the regular. These programs are boring out the pitchers engine for max HP (building up legs, core, and other supporting musclular/soft tissue systems) and using biomechanics to make the most efficient use of everything they've got.
Thanks. As with all evaluators, sometimes we just like a guy more than others. For the most part, I don't have any major issues with what he wrote and he does a thorough job. It's pretty clear he doesn't have access to the information on the Dominican guys that haven't at least played in the FCL, because they would clearly be over some of the generic pitching prospect he has on the last after 20.
We have similar opinions on almost all of the big names.
I think there is a little misnomer that the facilities are only trying to improve output (and they are, no doubt). Most of the focus is on cleaning up mechanics and building up leg, core, and arm strength with the main goal to be avoiding injury. Improved mechanics, flexibility, strength, and mobility will lead to improved velocity.
