Why not? I am freaking fan and invest a lot of time into the team.

If they are going to do a total 180 on something, then yes, i feel we should know...I don't see why not.

You guys sit there and act as if this team doesn't ever owe us anything...You are the same fans who think they have some kind of top secret job and everything should be hush hush.

That's absurd...We are fans and the team should tell us things...They don't need to tell us about who they are going to draft, sign, trade, etc...But things like this? Absolutely.

I'm a fan too and I invest a lot of time as well...as do a lot of others on here. Not so strangely enough, you're the only one amongst us demanding explantions for every single decision.

I don't think they have a top secret job, I never said anything of the sort. I just simply said I don't feel that they owe us any explanations. Clearly in this case they thought that Hernandez was a better fit right now than Tillman and that's all I really need to know. If they want to offer up an explantion as to why, I'm definitely interested to find out why and in this case I don't disagree with the decision.

Pounding out messages on the OH all day does not mean the Orioles owe us a single thing. The only single thing they owe us is a competitive product.

I know they told me..thanks for pointing out the obvious.

And they don't deserve the benefit of the doubt from me yet.

Your bar for this is higher than most of us and your position is fair, but it's unfair to imply others are homers or sheep (yes, I know you didn't actually call anyone those names) just because we have a deference to the people who are watching these guys every day.

It's not unreasonable for most people to accept the O's judgement w/r/t Tillman and Hernandez, and as evidenced by Atkins and the situation with international scouting/signings, it's certainly not a uniform deference.

Well, you can have that thought all you want...I disagree...So let's move on because this is an incredibly stupid discussion.

Well, i am eagerly anticipating them not making poor decision on a regular basis, so the feeling is mutual!

I know, I look forward to the day when you look at the team and are satisfied. Probably about 30 seconds after we win the World Series, then its time to start working on cutting the dead weight :D.

Is it really that big of a deal to have Tillman start the season in AAA? This could even be a move based on Guthrie. They may not expect Guthrie to hang around very long, and Tillman will be up in 4-5 weeks, after getting time to work on his command.
