nevadaO
For those who love stadiums like me and want to get a glimpse at the new Target Field, the Twins are playing there right now on MLB Network.
lordbrook
Am I the only one that finds an open air stadium in Minnesota a bit weird?

RShack
Am I the only one that finds an open air stadium in Minnesota a bit weird? The crappy Washington Senators moved to an open air stadium in MINN and won a pennant in no time. The Twinkies played in open-air Metropolitan Stadium for 20 years before they moved into the balloon....
EASTERNSHOREFAN
I'm glad to see the metrodome gone
fansince1988
Looks like those LF upper level outfield seats are miles from the action, and very few people are sitting up there. Hopefully they have seat heat at Target Field, otherwise this place is going to be known as "the fridge".

Indeed true, but I wouldn't necessarily want to be playing there during the season's bookends, especially for night games or playoffs. I found it quite odd that the original plan of having a retractable roof was shelved. It was for financial reasons, of course, but the luxury that typifies postmodern stadia could have been tamed a bit to accommodate it. That, however, would require common sense. Good luck to them anyway.
