Everyone knew this is what the video was going to be. If you expected anything more, than well...that's just dumb.

Especially now...Because the chance of anything substantial happening mid season, especially this early on, is about zilch.

You know what? I appreciate the video. I don't LIKE the video. I don't think the video provides a whole lot of news. But I appreciate it.

Know why? Because Andy put a face on the team. His own. He's taking some accountability here, and that's new. You can say he's blaming this or making excuses on that, but ultimately, that's his mug out there telling us what's up.

It's a step.

Losing sure does screw up perceptions. If I remember correctly Cal had some adjustments to make his second time around the league. Markakis had to adjust. Bedard took 3 years to develop. It takes time for young players to get acclimated. It's called player development and it's frustrating and takes patience.

The start of the season was terrible but it was a case of multiple things going wrong at the same time.

The bottom line is we have to wait for the young guys to develop. It might take this year to figure out. It's not the end of the world.
