Using him for 2 or 3 innings every 3 days out of the bullpen would be just fine with me. No need to wait for a rotation spot to open, IMO.

I don't understand why BAL isn't doing this with all of the young arms. Especially with the season already in the toilet. Great way to break the arms in.

Send Bergesen down or to the pen, it's simple.

At this point Matusz should be the leading candidate for a summer vacation in Norfolk, not Bergy. Tillman could also stand to go back to Norfolk to work on his curveball mechanics, according to VaTech's analysis.

Or, if Matusz gets his act together and Tillman holds his own, just put Arietta in the bullpen for a while, and let him get his feet wet while we listen to offers for Guthrie and Millwood.
