Roch says that Mazzone's fate and Crowley's fate is still up in the air...

Still no word on how manager Dave Trembley will structure the rest of his coaching staff. That means still no word on whether pitching coach Leo Mazzone and hitting coach Terry Crowley will return. Talk to four people and you’ll get four different predictions.

And it looks like BB's source would be 1 of those 4 for sayings sake. In other words, we really don't know what to make of this situation yet.

I doubt Flanny goes. He can get another apprenticeship with AM.

Not surprising. D has made more poor moves than good ones. In his defense, we'll never know how much he was over-ridden by PA. D was a breath of fresh air in terms of being a straight talker and seemed to improve our standing with FAs and other FO types. I'm glad he's gone, though.

It would not surprise me if another one of the special assistants goes soon as well.
