Is Mahoney a prospect now?

Mahoney just went deep again...4 for 4 with 2 homers, a double, and a single. Wow!

This may be the biggest hot streak I have ever witnessed! He is hitting like he is on a video game!!! Unbelievable!!!

Hahaha.

I don't mess with ANYTHING over 3 times hotter than a Habenero. Right now that includes Mahoney.

Speaking of which, how is it no one has posted a Police Academy montage of people yelling "MAHONEEEEYYYYY!!!!"?

...but none even close to this! 7 HR in 6 days? What are they feeding that guy????

It would be so nice to see someone emerge as a legit 1B power hitting threat...

Michael Aubrey hit 7 HR in 6 days (and 8 in 8 days) earlier this week with Norfolk and drove in 16 RBIs over that span to boot.

Pretty amazing to have two O's farmhands do it the same week!

Nice to see Mahoney giving some credit to his coaches, especially Denny Hocking. If you see all the position players who made a lot of progress at Frederick this year -- Hoes, Avery, Miclat, Mahoney and others -- it's apparent that something is going right down there.

Ok this kid keeps rolling along. He is a proper aged kid at AA hitting over 400 with power. Good patience, great speed very projectible body. I assume you goes to afl if he continues do we not look for a first baseman this offseason. I would think you get close to saying between reimold, Scott, snyder, hughs, this kid and Aubry seone will imerge.
