And besides, Buck says he is playing for later, so maybe this was to give Bell his chance to hit in a big situation.

Every single one of those options is better than Izturis.

I don't mind Bell batting, but there is no logical explanation for letting Izturis bat. It was plain and simple a boneheaded decision. I would've started a thread criticizing the decision even if Izturis singles in the two runs there. Its just not a smart play. It is, in fact, quite the opposite: a stupid play.
