If Showalter says he wants to win next year and you think he has full control, why would we even need Towers?

The Diamondbacks lost DiPoto because of this hire.

I have a problem with this mentality. What about the next year and the year after that? And so on...

That quote, which could be taken out of context to fit your ajenda, makes it sound like Towers is an impatient GM and would mortgage a teams long-term future for a quick fix, short term run. Not the type of GM I want running my favorite team.

It disgusts me how impatient people in the U.S. can be. People have to learn patience.
