The Giants pitching staff is pretty sick, but their offense doesn't jump out at me. The reverse is true for the Braves.

I'm actually going with the Braves in five. I think they're motivated to win for Cox, and while the top of their rotation isn't as good as the Giants, the overall package is better overall. Braves in 5.

Not that I want to be "that guy" but Posey was obviously out at 2nd. It's always unfortunate when that ends up being the decisive factor in the game as he was the only run to score.

I also should say that Infante definitely should have had that ball on the ground under his glove.

How many times can this keep happening? Bring in replay for crying out loud.

No sentimental Bobby Cox rooting for me. Go Gints!

Agree. Admittedly it was a long while ago and before he got sober, but Bobby Cox had the foulest mouth I've ever had the misfortune of sitting near.

As far as the WS is concerned, I gotta think the Phillies have the best team in the NL this year and I'd like to see them represent. Lincecum, Cain and Sanchez is a better rotation than a lot of people are aware of. And a currently underrated Zito as well as Bumgarner ain't too shabby as backups either...

If the Giants make it, I won't complain.

Lincecum and Cain are awesome, and obviously Posey is impressive.... but this Giants team overall is pretty mediocre.

They have 3 very good starters, a good pen and Posey...But yea, the "talent" on the team is pretty subpar.

Sandoval has good upside but didn't have a great year this year.

But they also have Baumgardner as well, which will give them 4 excellent starters and even Zito started off well this year but ended the year poorly.
