That could be a factor and also Norby's defense that's his weakest link as a prospect. Kjerstad is certainly deserving, but getting him at bats could be an issue since he can only play 1B/DH/OF. -

They already do on occasion when Mounty sits, but I don't think anyone likes his defense as much as Mounty's. -

Maybe, but then there's just so much overlap then between Norby, Mateo and Urias -- all righties at second base. In fact I think if they promote Norby it should be to demote/release/trade Hays or Mateo. But I guess Norby's problem is that no one is in love with his defense. -
Can always give more starts to O’Hearn at 1st to even out the lineup if necessary -
Why does it matter where the distribution of lefties comes from? With two switch hitters, two/three full time left handed batters and a platoon lefty I think we’re fine there. -

Cowser was not good last year. Not all promising young prospects are ready their first time up. -
