The teams were evenly matched in head-to-head play in 2010 at 4-4. Here's hoping the Rangers pull it out. Just make sure that Cliff Lee starts twice for them.

Lee won't start until Game 3, unless he goes on short rest. Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised to see the Yankees sweep this series.

That would involve knocking around Wilson in Game 1 and Lee in Game 3. I don't see a sweep.

Lee going game 3 in NY isn't a bad thing because of the advantage lefty hitters have in Yankee stadium..So, they will have Lee and Wilson going in NY...That could represent a big advantage for the Rangers.

The thing that amazed me about the Rays/Rangers is that the away team went 5-0, couple that with the Twins/Yankees series and home teams only went 1-7.

Head's saying the frigging Yanks and heart the Rangers. If the Rangers can somehow win at least one or two without Lee they have a shot. I think Lee as he showed in the World Series last year is capable of beating the Yanks.

This is a good point. I read somewhere today that Burnett will pitch game 4. If that's the case, then the Yankees should pitch Pettitte in game 3 so they have him for game seven with his experience over Hughes.
