And Feliz K's our old "friend" Mark to end it. Gotta say I am real impressed with how the Rangers have bounced back in this and now the Yankees have to rely on A.J Burnett to avoid falling behind 2-1 tomorrow. And Tommy Hunter isn't a bad pitcher either.

The Yankees are already down in the series 2-1, and when AJ gets rocked tonight they will be down 3-1. I can't wait to see Jeter with a tear in his eye.

Did Girardi make a mistake throwing Pettitte last night and Burnett tonight? Should he have switched them? I know you never want to concede a game, but it wouldn't have mattered tonight whether the Yanks pitcher gave up 1 or 10. And with all respect to Tommy Hunter (who I hope throws a perfect game), I am guessing Pettitte's performance last night would be enough to win game 4. As it is we could be seeing a 11-10 who knows sort of a game. So it would seem to make sense to call game 3 gravy, and keep Pettitte as your firewall in game four. Any thoughts?

(I guess one downside is that AJ would be slated for game 7. But you have to get to that point first. And in that case you would have CC available for an inning or maybe 2.)

Pettite pitched a game good enough to win most nights, especially with the Yankees offense. I think you put that up against Lee and have confidence that your lineup will either hang a couple on him or will be able to work him enough to get to the bullpen and repeat Game 1.
