Mark Carver
Looking at 1-11, Ripken at 12 is some good company...
ShaneDawg85
Definitely in good company, although I probably would have put him ahead of OU and Wilt's 100 point game. Kobe almost got to 100 a few years back, and I think that the combination of the right schedule and other factors could lead to someone beating OU's record one day. But I think that 2632 and 56, and the other one's about Ripken on that list are records that won't be broken.
waroriole
Ummm, no record is more unbreakable than Cy Young's 753 complete games.
isestrex
Looking at 1-11, Ripken at 12 is some good company... Just looking at all of these, I don't think they were in any type of order.
eb45
#9 (Gibson's 1.12 ERA) isn't even a record. Dutch Leonard put up a 0.96 in 1916 in what was actually a very similar run environment.
