He was WBAL last night and went over the whole thing. He said the Sox were trying to get the three guys who helped tie game 4 of the 2004 LCS vs. Rivera. Millar walked, Roberts pinch ran and stole second, and Mueller drove him in..Those are the three who threw out the first pitches..Roberts will in Game 1 or 2 of WS. Boston was granted permission by Angelos and McPhail, and Millar himself called McPhail to make sure. He said it was fun, sat in some good seats, and he and his wife left in the 8th inning...He's an Oriole, and is looking forward to spring training. End of story.

The Fox promo was interesting - he did a favor for the president of Fox to cut a promo where he was speaking to the Red Sox fans. He didn't seem to think it was a big deal at all...

He also said that he would do it again even if he knew there was going to be the backlash that there was. He says he doesn't deal with negative energy of the fans, he's not there for that.

The guy still doesn't get it. Fox used him and then the Red Sox used him as a Rally Monkey and the guy thinks he did a favor and was honored. He could have and should have said no to both instances if he really cared about being an Oriole...

Also Anita didn't think it was a big deal at all, big surprise there...

One thing he did mention was Mike Flanagan threw out the opening pitch for the Blue Jays in 1991 or 1992 in a game. Can anyone confirm that one?

Can't we just assume that nobody is going to say anything different than was already gone over in the other 8 billion posts on this topic, skip all the crying , and pretend we already had this conversation?
I don't know, there really isn't much else in the organization that needs any fixing. This is really the only worthwhile topic that we need to discuss regarding the franchise.
