    No overreaction, because I have been saying this after wins and losses: This team will never win anything with this bullpen. In today's game, you need a good to very good BP to win. You can't go to 36-year old Kimbrel every night. Someone else has to step up. It was EXACTLY the same situation with Bautista. He was the only dominating reliever the O's had, got overused, and they broke him. This has been a problem in 2022/2023 and is still a problem in 2024. This has been Elias' only shortcoming...

    This was a very winnable game, but you can't win close ones every night. At some point, your offense needs to score add-on runs. This offense is beginning to look like a feast/famine kind of offense, which is very discouraging. This team will never win anything with this bullpen. In today's game, you need a dominating BP to win. This has been a problem in 2022/2023 and is still a problem in 2024. This has been Elias' only shortcoming.

    Burnes gutted it out. Why is it that aces do not get good run support? And why is it that starters with 5+ ERAs coming in dominate the Orioles lineup (One of the best in MLB)?

    The chances that Holiday would have a breakout series this weekend were very slim. His confidence is shot, he needs to go back to AAA to regain his swagger. Elias is right, the Orioles need to keep pace with the NYY and can't afford to continue this experiment, even for three more days.
