Here’s an updated version of the list of $100 mm+ contracts, through 2017 (all WAR figures are rWAR). You have to judge whether they were good, bad or indifferent based on what FA prices were at the time, rather than at today’s prices. You also have to consider whether the contract covered some pre-FA years, in which the player would have been under contract in any event.
