  1. He didn’t hit LH pitching well in spring training, the team will face a lot of LH pitching early, I looks like they will. Maybe the rather he plays regularly at Norfolk till they get thru the LH stretch. He will be up very soon, don’t believe they are worried about service time

  2. Why trade with the dodgers? The  Machado trade was a winner, at least Kramer is doing something.

And are the Orioles ready to make noise in the playoffs? When Holiday is up, that’s when you make moves. Assuming Kresdad and Mayo are up too. I hope they hang on to the 3 and Rodriguez.

  3. How does anyone know what type hitter he will be? You have r ma pretty good idea, nothing is guaranteed. He could be a better hitter than Gwynn, did Gwynn hit .400 in his first 50 games? The fun part will be watching him develop and get to the majors. Even better win a few WS either the orioles

  4. Wouldn’t fans rather see the young guys stay on big contracts ? If the team is really ready sure add a big name guy. Question is are they yet? Adley is pretty much a sure thing. Henderson, same but not so sure yet. Rodriguez, who really knows yet. Then you have the rest, somewhere in the group there might be another star.

  5. Sunday Bennie Ayala ( for Sunday games inly)

Don Stanhouse  ( play enough years?)

    Don Asse

    Jim Dwyer  ( ph alone)

     Dave May

    Pat Kelly

    Curt Belfry

love to see Rettenmund he was a favorite of mine

I know they are not allowed here, Belanger if better hitter HOF

And Lee May, only player I ever saw score from first on infield hit

  6. Disco Dan batting second behind Bee was almost a certain run. Bee got on 1st, Disco moved him to 3rd with single to right, Ripken base hit or Sac or ground out to bring home a run. Then Eddie, if he didn’t do it Bro Lo or Reoniki would do something.

Oh for the roar from 34 again.    Leee Mayyy!!!

They may, but put them in a professional size baseball outfield and I bet they look like beer league softball players chasing balls! lol

Younger days we played on same size fields in big tournaments. Using 3 outfielders not 4.  330  down lines, 380 centerfield.

i get your point though. Kind of looked bad when 2 fielders ran into each other. Hopefully this young man is the real deal.

     Appreciate your comments on players.

Things I learned by watching this clip:

    1) Prieto has a nice swing, likes to go the other way. Seems to be a good bunter.
    2) There are guys playing center field in the Cuban Leagues that look like they should be playing beer league softball
    3) Between pitches it appears that everyone from the pitcher, hitter, umpire and catcher all take a little break before the next pitch is thrown like 40 seconds later. Games must be like 4 hours long.
    4) Whoever made this video doesn't really understand how to make a highlight video!
    5) The quality of pitching is not very good in the Cuban League. They guy he homers off of towards the end of the clip makes Cesar Valdez look like a fireballer.

Good observations and love your comments.

Be careful what you say about “beer league” softball. I promise my over 50 team would impress you. Not saying I am any good, just my team is. Outfielders get to balls better then you would think. Most are over 55 yrs old

Way off the OP, but who was the best athlete who pitched for the Orioles? Mike Mussina, Ken Dixon, Mike Boddicker and Ben McDonald come to mind for me. Sidney Ponson? ?

If you had watched Palmer in batting practice back in the day you would say him.

He was every bit as good a outfielder as Blair. My opinion
