So, I wasn’t aware of it, but in January the 1st Appellate Division denied MASN’s motion for leave to appeal to the NY Court of Appeal. That means that the 1st Appellate Division’s earlier decision stands for now, and it has been reported that the re-hearing of the rights fee dispute before MLB’s Revenue Sharing Definitions Committee (RSDC) will take place next month. The three members of the RSDC have all changed over since the previous hearing in 2012. So, we’ll see if the outcome is any different this time.
Will there actually ever be an end to this dispute? I have the feeling this is just going to drag on for years. Is there anything that would make it come to a concrete closure? Or will it always just be appealed back and forth?

Gurgi....the next time the Baseball Gods and/or the Overlords stop in could you please see if they could have Dempsey come in from the perch in the OF and do his rain delay antics.
Oh.....and please have them do something about that Harper a$$ over in DC.

Cool! I didn't know he had a new one out. I love his stuff. Looking forward to seeing Shutter Island later this year.
Blind Side is good too.
The Given Day I got for Christmas so it's been out a little while. Takes place in Boston in early 1900's...pretty cool so far.
Is Shutter Island going to be a movie??
I love his stuff too, has a good grit to it.

"The Given Day" by Denis Lehane. Long book and it's hardcover and I doubt I finish it before I go to Mexico for work in two weeks so I will be picking up.....
"Blind Side" the Michael Oher story.
Elias J2 International Orioles

I'm viewing the t-shirt hype Elias is using as a sign that the O's will be involved as much as they can be involved being they are getting a later start to evaluating the talent that will be signing. I don't think Elias is saying they will be signing the top talent available but he is putting a flag in the ground saying the Orioles have finally arrived on the international scene so take note.
