    People still read that rag?

They started dropping it on my driveway twice a week a few months ago, I guess hoping I might see some value in it and subscribe. 95% of the time it’s straight to the recycle bin. The exception is if my kid gets his hands on it first for the crosswords and comics.

Great to wear at the ball park or for yard work. But it's hard to rock a black, white, and orange tri-color hat with a cartoon bird on it in basically ever social situation outside of OPACY.

I personally don’t find it hard. I wear what I want and don’t care whether someone dislikes my tri-color hat. That said you’ve got tons of “lifestyle” hat options from ‘47 Brand, New Era, etc. Is your desire to have the primary team cap be one that’s “classier?”

I am also a Dish customer.  I called and spoke with a representative regarding the removal of MASN.  He could not find any evidence of that being the case.  He mentioned the other NBC Sports networks, but had no notes on MASN being removed.

I also saw an interaction on Twitter with a user saying he saw that same ad when going to pay his bill.  A fellow user replied to that and said a Dish rep stated that the message on the website was fake.  So hopefully this is good news but I don't know why a fake message would be circulating.

That’s interesting. You’d think they’d get their story straight. Still showing when I logged into my account this morning

  4. It seems that way.  I think they're also dropping NBC Sports Washington and NBC Sports for Oakland bay area.

I'm running out of options to watch the O's.  AT&T TV looks to be the cheapest, and it's not exactly cheap.  Amazingly, adding AT&T TV is cheaper than bundling Fios TV with the internet I already have.  I'd gladly hand MASN $15-20/mo on its own if I could not pay for all the other junk I don't need.

  5. I knew my 2-year agreement with Dish was running out soon so I logged in and found a banner stating that Dish Network is dropping MASN effective 4/1/2021.  Perfect timing for opening day!  If only MASN would get their act together and be more available through streaming.  It looks like the only streaming service that has MASN is AT&T TV.  Anyone have any experience with AT&T TV?

The O's could add a few local celebrities/historical figures.  Edgar Allan Poe comes to mind.  How ironic would it be to have a John Waters cutout at an Orioles game!?

Ben Franklin is in the stands in Philly.  Also, a cat with a Phillies shirt ?  I really enjoy it and wish the O's would have done this for charity, too.

They just hired Mike Matheny to manage them. My dad has more merit to manage a team than that guy does

I think a lot of the team’s winning was despite him being at the helm. Such a solidly consistent franchise. Cards fans I know were driven crazy by the guy.

    despite 93 wins, thats funny.

League Winners have won with lesser amounts.

True! It just pales in comparison to Houston’s 107 and makes a casual observer think a lesser team won. Now, the 2014 Royals buzzsaw that we ran into... (yes, still very bitter!)

They did it the cheap, everyone deserves a trophy way by winning the stupid wild card game to even get into the playoffs.

At least the Orioles were in first place in large divisions winning their titles.

The wild card sucks but that stupid game needs to be trashed ASAP

It’s been pointed out many times that the Nats started 19-31 and then finished on a tear. They were the hottest/best team in baseball for the last four months of the season. No way they weren’t deserving of the wild card opportunity that they seized. And when you look at it through that lens, it’s really not all that surprising that they took the championship despite having only 93 wins.
