  1. I'm with you. I never like the idea of tanking - especially when the team has a decent shot at making the playoffs. I mean, if they decide they want to trade some veteran guys like Ariza and Green for whatever they can get, I'm fine with that. But purposely losing just to move up a few spots seems pointless to me.

The 5th starter spot is vs the Astros. All those RH power hitters.

I know Cortes has been very good vs RHH in the minors. Still that is a tough place to pitch.

Ouch. Bottom of the rotation against HOU, that could get ugly in a hurry.

  3. Not to sound like an entitled NY or Boston fan.... but it does feel like we belong there now.

Yeah, come to think of it, the title of this thread does sound pretty entitled. I'd rather keep things a little more low key. Not too big of a big deal though.

    Love it. Palmer's too cool.

The track "Oh No" works perfectly as an intro into one of Zappa's best instrumentals, "The Orange County Lumber Truck." Two gems stuck in an odd place in one of Zappa's stranger albums.

  6. Man i just had some vodka and am feeling pretty good lol. I'm really feeling an O's victory this Friday. We've got Arrieta pitching, we've got a pretty damn good lineup, and the O's usually do well on OD. I'm thinking Arrieta pitches at least six innings, Davis and Jones go yard, Jimmy Johnson gets the save. That's how I see it panning out anyways. Let's go O's!!:):D:2yay-thumb:
