I got no refund for service charges for WC or ALDS #3.
I'll only have an issue with this if some people are getting refunded. I knew what I signed up for when I bought tickets....but why should I pay if others don't???
-
I called on Fri and now have 3 pending refunds dated 10/13 on my CC.
-
So we have to beg them personally for a refund, while their policy states they will do so automatically?
The rep was explaining that this was handled different by the Orioles/Ticketmaster. Didnt get in to specifics but that is what's causing the issue.
I was on hold for 20 mins. Pain in the ass but I wanted a refund for WS tickets on Wed. Still hoping credit is done by then.
Look at your email sent from Ticketmaster for your tickets. It should now show a zero charge for the tickets.Mine still shows a charge. I feel like some are having this work as it should and some are not.
Just got this back from Orioles cx service:
"Thank you for contacting the Orioles.
We apologize for the delay - we are currently working with Ticketmaster to have these games refunded as soon as possible."
-
Ticketmaster rep said they recieved an email about this saying specifically NOT to refund the orders and to let the system do it automatically...but she said people were calling all day so they have been cancelling them..
She was able to cancel order today and said 2-3 days i should have $ back on CC
I'll check my CC statement shortly
-
On hold with Ticketmaster now...will provide updates
-
Anyone have a refund yet?
I emailed the Orioles (since ticketmaster seems very hands off and directs some questions to the team) and hopefully will get a response soon.
I want the refund ASAP so I can purchase tickets to the WS next Wed
-
I got an email on the 4th saying 3-5 days.
Like I said in another thread, they should have made sure the refunds were issued before the ALCS presale...
-
Just woke up, saw the game was just ending.
You guys are some troopers.

This. If it was any night this week but tonight, I would have been there. So disappointed...I've been really wanting to meet my OH brethren!
Same boat I am in. I wont even be able to watch on TV. Radio it is!
have fun guys.

Yes. And she was tearful last evening.
It was just like the good old days.
She's the best. I buy a beer from her every single time I go. She's got a big stand now. Big step up from the past.
-
Wish I could make it. I'm sure it'll be a blast. Wed are the only night I can't do.

And I think the point Davis is making it is a sorry state of affairs that fans such as yourself are doing so. This is indeed a perfect example of how low the major league team has sunken.
Were you watching MASN/listening to 105.7? Doubtful. That was not what he was referencing.
-
Sure I understand that but what I find annoying is those who were not around when folks like Davis were are ridiculing him for telling how he sees it and imparting the mindset of how it used to be, which is true. Don't disrepect the man because of ignorance because of not being around during the times when the Orioles were winners, and indeed the average fan cared little about the players at Rochester or Elmira. What Davis says is spot on. The only "clueless" people are those making fun of him.:rolleyestf::eektf:
I guess I haven't had the honor of a post of yours directed towards me.
But...
You're just as clueless. Being around at a time of winning means nothing in this case. It has everything to do with more knowledgable fans and a higher quality/larger quantity of information available for that fan.
This isnt 1966 where if we didnt listen to the game on the radio or read about it in the paper, we didnt know what was going on.
I find it more disrespectful that Davis feels that this is a "big league city" and for some reason we are wrong to follow the minors and see who is our future. Thats just as ignorant as your posts in this thread.
-
Do Oriole fans who are too young to remember the winning ways of the Orioles like Tom Davis does, not realize that back then no Orioles fan paid much attention to the minor leaguers unless they had someone like Bobby Grich who was the International League Player of the Year get called up?
The reason, was the Big League Team were winners every year. Something many of you unfortunately have no concept of.
Times are different. More information is out there on the minors....But I'm sure you understand that....
-
Also, kinda back on topic...the 105.7/MASN area ranges to Bowie and Frederick.

Oh, btw, they definitely read this forum. Have heard Dave Johnson use exact quotes form this forum on more than one occasion.
well hopefully both of them realize how stupid they sound today.
-
No I was agreeing. The only thing we have to look to is our Minor Leagers. It would be stupid and ostrich with head in sand like not to.
Well apparently since we're a "big league city" we should only focus on the Orioles/Ravens. If you're a fan of NHL, NBA, college, etc. you're an idiot.
-
Ive never really been able to handle Dave Johnson, especially post game.
Tom Davis is someone I've never really paid attention to. That part of the show was horrendous. Maybe 38 years ago when he started it was a tad different. LOL

Very confused on how this works.
I bought the opening day 5 pack and got the email about the 125% credit. Log in to my account and see nothing except 3 of the 5 games being postponed. I'd obviously like to use my credit to purchase tickets once games start up again.
Is the $ amount of the credit not available yet or am I looking in the wrong place?
